ITINERARY 


Day One - on a flight to Italy

Your adventure begins with a journey to Rome. Settle in for your overnight flight across the Atlantic, with meals provided onboard.

Day Two – Rome

Welcome to Rome, known as the "Eternal City." Upon landing, embark on a tour showcasing Rome's classical landmarks. With a local expert, discover the majestic Trevi Fountain, the elegant Spanish Steps, the vibrant Piazza Navona, and the ancient Pantheon, a testament to the architectural ingenuity of the past dedicated to Caesar Augustus. This evening, gather with your travel companions for a welcome dinner at our hotel. (Dinner included)

Day Three – Rome | Vatican | Roman Catacombs 

The journey continues to the Vatican, where you'll visit St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel, home to Michelangelo’s iconic ceiling frescoes, depicting scenes of 'Creation' and the 'Last Judgment'. Then, delve into the mysterious depths of the Roman Catacombs, ancient underground burial grounds that provide a solemn and fascinating glimpse into early Christian Rome. This labyrinth of narrow passageways and tombs is a testament to the city's rich and layered history. (Breakfast included)

Day Four – Rome | Colosseum

Today, delve into the heart of Ancient Rome. Visit Palatine Hill, the Roman Forum, Circus Maximus, the Arch of Constantine, and the legendary Colosseum, reliving the era of gladiators. Afterward, head south to Sorrento, a picturesque resort town on the Amalfi Coast, offering stunning views of Mt. Vesuvius. (Breakfast, Lunch included)

Day Five – Pompeii | Sorrento

Discover Pompeii this morning, a city frozen in time by Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Uncover 2,000 years of history in the excavated ruins. Later, enjoy Sorrento's lively streets, famous for Cameo necklaces, inlaid wood crafts, Limoncello, and authentic Neapolitan Pizza. (Breakfast, Lunch included)

Day Six –  Perugia | Umbria | Assisi

Travel through Umbria to Perugia and Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis. Visit the grand Basilica and wander through this medieval town, enjoying its charming squares and cafes. Tonight, dine at our hotel in the scenic Umbrian countryside. (Breakfast, Dinner included)

Day Seven – Tuscany | San Gimignano | Florence

Witness the unfolding landscapes of Tuscany en route to San Gimignano, a medieval town famed for its towers and picturesque alleys. Visit a Tuscan vineyard for lunch, then proceed to Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, for a guided tour highlighting the Piazza del Duomo and the Baptistery's Bronze Gates of Paradise. Day Eight – Florence

Today, immerse yourself in the artistic splendor of Florence, starting with a visit to the Accademia Gallery,  marvel at Michelangelo's David. Wander through the historic Piazza della Signoria, home to the imposing Palazzo Vecchio, and soak in the panoramic vistas of Florence from the Palazzo Michelangelo overlook. Day Nine – Pisa | Padova | Venice

Explore the surrounding marvels that make up the Piazza dei Miracoli. Day Ten – Venice

Day Eleven – Verona | Stresa

Journey from Venice to Verona, setting of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, for exploration and lunch. Continue to Stresa in the Italian Lakes District, settling in for two nights with an evening to enjoy lakeside. (Breakfast included)

Day Twelve – Stresa | Lake Maggiore

Awaken in the picturesque town of Stresa, nestled along the shores of the expansive Lake Maggiore. Dedicate this day to leisurely exploration, absorbing the serene beauty and quintessential Italian elegance that Stresa embodies. Opt for a tranquil cruise on Lake Maggiore, revealing enchanting islands and breathtaking landscapes, or meander through quaint nearby villages, each offering a unique glimpse into local life and culture. Day Thirteen – Milan | Flight back home

On this day we journey to Milan’s Malpensa Airport, hearts full of unforgettable Italian memories. Our exceptional journey through Italy's historic cities, breathtaking landscapes, and culinary delights comes to a close. With so many cherished moments to share, we return home eager to recount our adventures to family and friends. (Meals provided onboard.)

$600 USD deposit per person required to secure spot. ($200 USD of this deposit is non-refundable)


Full payment may be made at anytime, but final payment must be paid by 90 days before departure. 

For Cancellations initiated by clients for any reason:

90 or more days in advance: Refund 100% cost of the pilgrimage minus $200 USD non-refundable cancellation fee.

Less than 90 days in advance, the following refunds will be given: 

61 - 90 days prior to departure-  Refund of 75% of total cost of pilgrimage, less $200 nonrefundable deposit.  

31 - 60 days prior to departure-  Refund of 50%, less $200 nonrefundable deposit. 

30 days prior to departure or less, no refund will be available through Can't Be Missed Tours. 

Participants are encouraged to purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen events. 


(Please note: Air ticket cancellations are not included in our cancellation policy, regardless of whether we assist clients in purchasing tickets. Flight cancellation policies are according to the individual airline).
