You will be greeted right outside your cruise ship by your personal English-speaking driver and welcomed into a comfortable minivan, with a maximum of 8 participants for a more intimate experience.
As we set off through the enchanting Tuscan countryside, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of cypress-lined roads, sunflower fields, rolling hills, and vineyards during the 90-minute journey to the remarkable city of Florence.
Upon arrival, you’ll meet your local, licensed English-speaking guide for a captivating two-hour walking tour of this Renaissance jewel. Your visit begins at the magnificent Duomo of Florence, the fourth-largest Catholic church in the world, crowned by the awe-inspiring dome engineered by Filippo Brunelleschi in the 15th century.
Next, you’ll explore the political heart of the city—Signoria Square—an open-air museum of Renaissance sculpture. Marvel at the imposing Palazzo Vecchio, the former seat of Florence's government, and take in iconic masterpieces such as the Fountain of Neptune by Ammannati, Perseus with the Head of Medusa by Cellini, The Rape of the Sabine Women by Giambologna, and a striking replica of Michelangelo’s David.
Your walk will then lead you to the picturesque Ponte Vecchio (The Old Bridge), one of Florence’s most beloved landmarks. After the guided tour, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch and perhaps indulge in some shopping or gelatoalong the charming streets.
