For more than 10 years, this has been our best-loved tour from Livorno. Travel in comfort by 8-seater minivan to the iconic cities of Florence and Pisa—two of Tuscany’s crown jewels.

While Livorno is mainly an industrial port with no easy walk-out access, our exclusive service makes it effortless. Upon disembarking from your cruise ship, you’ll be warmly greeted by your personal driver and escorted to a comfortable minivan, accommodating no more than eight guests for an intimate experience.

As we journey through the picturesque Tuscan countryside—past cypress-lined roads, sunflower fields, rolling hills, and lush vineyards—the 1.5-hour ride to Florence will pass in a delight.

Once in Florence, your driver will take you directly into the historic center, dropping you next to the Duomo (large buses can’t enter), saving you at least 30 minutes of walking each way. This gives you more precious time to explore.

You’ll meet your local, licensed, English-speaking guide and begin at the Duomo of Florence, the world’s fourth-largest Catholic church, crowned by Brunelleschi’s awe-inspiring 15th-century dome. Stroll through Piazza della Signoria, an open-air museum of Renaissance art, where you’ll see Palazzo Vecchio and masterpieces such as the Fountain of Neptune, Perseus with the Head of Medusa, The Rape of the Sabine Women, and a replica of Michelangelo’s David.

Continue to the Ponte Vecchio, Florence’s famous medieval bridge lined with jewelry shops. After your guided walking tour, enjoy free time for lunch, shopping, or further exploration.

Next, your driver will take you to Piazzale Michelangelo, where you’ll enjoy sweeping panoramic views of the Florence skyline—a perfect photo opportunity.

We then travel to Pisa, where you’ll explore the Square of Miracles, home to the Leaning Tower, Baptistry, and Cathedral. Our drop-off point is just steps from the Leaning Tower (large buses must park much farther away), again saving you valuable time.

At the end of the day, you’ll be returned comfortably to your ship well before departure.

During peak season, your walking tour in Florence may be joined by other CBM Tour guests, with group sizes limited to 24 guests per guide. Headsets will be provided for groups of more than 10.
